Russell Clarke and I worked together for 4 years during the early 1990s. Russell introduced me to the industry, and provided my base training in recruitment and labour hire practice.

In my 18 years in this industry I have come across few people with the in-depth knowledge of recruitment practice than Russell Clarke. Many of the things I was taught by Russell, my company still utilizes today. What sets Russell apart from other trainers in this industry is attention to detail. His methods leave nothing to chance – he has systems and procedures for countering any situation that any consultant could possibly find themselves in. I have known Russell Clarke for 8 years, having been inducted into the recruitment industry by Russell through a National Recruitment franchise. I worked for Russell, both as an Account Manager and a Franchise Development Manager. I have remained in contact with Russell over the following years.

My first experience of a Recruitment Agency was in 1987 when I walked through the doors of a modern city office and was interviewed by the owner, Mr. Russell Clarke. I was employed with him as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and after only 18 months was given the opportunity to manage a new branch he was setting up on Albert Road, Melbourne. Not only did Russell develop me as a Recruitment Consultant but guided me as a Manager both in the handling of staff and the acumen required to operate a successful branch. Incredibly he shared intimate financial savvy and business principles that have allowed me to be very successful today. Russell was a very unselfish trainer who shared his experience unconditionally. I have always appreciated and respected Russell for imparting his knowledge and experience that very few Owners would.

Russell had an innate training style that gave you a passion for the industry. His training was incredibly thorough, well thought out and empowering.
